Right Border is a great way to visually separate columns in your analysis and is particularly helpful when performing calculations left to right in your spreadsheet. In this article, I will show you how to activate this feature in Google Sheets by shortcut, just like you would in Excel
The most common shortcut for Right Border in Excel is Alt + H + B + R. You can use this shortcut in Google Sheets by pressing & releasing Alt + H + B + R one after the other

Steps for Right Border:
Install the SheetWhiz Chrome Extension for free
Refresh a Google Sheet and login when prompted. The SheetWhiz logo will appear in the upper right hand corner of the screen
Select the area you'd like to apply a Right Border to and then hit Alt + H + B + R. Make sure you press and release each key before pressing the next key, just like you would in Excel
If you are on a Mac, use Option + H + B + R as there is no Alt key on the Mac keyboard
In summary, the Right Border Shortcut:
Alt + H + B + R (PC)
Option + H + B + R (Mac)
[Optional] Furthermore, you can change the Right Border shortcut to a more convenient shortcut by clicking the button in the SheetWhiz menu and changing the key
